The First Presbyterian Church of Elko's chapter of
Presbyterian Women typically sponsors the
following events each year.
- Installation of Officers–This
occurs in February each year.
- Valentine's Care Bear Party–Also
in February, the Presbyterian Women host a
luncheon party to which women attendees are
encouraged to bring stuffed toys. The toys are
then donated to the hospital to be given to
children patients who could use a stuffed toy to
hug.
- .Fall and Spring Rummage Sales–The
proceeds from these popular sales are used for
the group's various mission and outreach
projects.

The 2006 Fall
Rummage Sale offered lots of bargains.
- Gifts of Women Sunday–One
Sunday worship service in March is typically led
entirely by women from our church family who are
willing to share their various personal gifts
with the congregation.
- Spring Tea–All
Presbyterian Women and their women guests are
invited to attend this May event at the church.
Women don their tea dresses and hats, if
desired, and share tea and fellowship along with
a short program.

- Fathers' Day Brunch–This
brunch for our church family is held in the
Fellowship Hall during the after-service
fellowship hour on Father's Day.
- Mothers' Day Brunch–This
brunch for our church family is held in the
Fellowship Hall during the after-service
fellowship hour on Mother's Day.
- Harvest Festival–In
November, the Presbyterian Women hold a Harvest
Festival at the church at which there is a baked
goods and craft items sale and a meal served to
the general public. A thank offering is taken.
